What do abbreviations XRS, OSC, OCS, SXF mean?
XRS —  X-ray radiometric separation

OSC —  ore-sorting complex with on the XRS base
(i.e. with separators SXF use)

OCS —  ore-control station
(station types: conveyer, trolley, automobile)

SXF —  X-ray radiometric fluorescent separator

What is the essence of radiometric ore dressing method?
Radiometric dressing —  separating of useful minerals from useless rock, based on minerals quality to emit radiations (emission-radiometric methods) or weaken them (absorbing-radiometric methods).
Natural minerals radioactivity, their luminescence and so on are used in emission-radiometric methods.
X-ray, neutron, and gamma-emission are used in absorbing-radiometric method.

Does the equipment for radiometric dressing manganese ore exist? Initial content Mn - 18-20%
Manganese ore have a great variety of types according to substance structure, admixtures, granular-metric structure and other factors.
Great-scale tests of XRS technology of different kinds of ores have been made for the following deposits:
  1. Porozhinskoe, Mazelskoe, Nikolaevskoe (Krasnoyarsky krai, RF)
  2. Gromovskoe (Chitinskaya area, RF)
  3. Tur, (Kazakhstan Republic)
  4. Ushkatyn (Kazakhstan Republic).
Positive results, proving the possibility of getting of qualitative metallurgical concentrate with certain manganese content indexes, module (ratio Mn/Fe) and admixtures content, have been got nearly everywhere. For example, according to technological ore properties, one can get different kinds of concentrates: more than 40% (45%) manganese, at the level 30-35% manganese, i.e. according to the task and demand.

What are the main separator parts and their functions?
According to the functional principle , the separator consists of the following structural units:
  1. measure-control system (MCS)
  2. ore feed apparatus (OFA)
  3. executive mechanisms (EM)
  4. separation products receiver (SPR)
The separator Measure-control system (MCS) (main devices):
EDB — Electronic detecting block is used for the registration of characteristic X-ray emission , stimulated by the primary resource (X-ray tube, PXAS ) in analyzed ore pieces , for apparatus spectrum formation and connection with a control computer.
PXAS — Portable X-ray apparatus (small-gabarit) is used for primary X-ray emission generation
Control computer — provides main separator units work control with the suitable software

Mechanical separator units:
OFA — Ore feed apparatus provides simultaneously the following functions:

  1. receiving and accumulation of primary ore in the receiving bunker
  2. ore extract from the receiving bunker with certain productivity with following formation of the mono-lay at the end of vibro-feeder tray
  3. removing of impossible to sort small pieces in the zone of fire-bars sieve distributor
  4. ore feed onto distributor trays with successive ore distribution into the flow of pieces following one after another (stream regime)
EM —  Executive mechanisms is used for mechanical trajectory deflection of pieces from ore flow flight.

Can you inform about separators delivery conditions, terms and prices, please?
If the Customer observes the payment conditions, the partnership «RADOS»is obliged to produce the output (separators) for the Customer, and to send by automobile, railway or other means of transportation not later the term according a contract (a month, two, three months, it depends on quantity of ordered equipment ) since the day of getting prepayment.

Equipment assembling, arrangement, exploitation beginning are made on the object according to the Customer call during 10-20 days with the condition that the object is prepared for the equipment assembling and arrangement by the Customer.
